Many of the Museums offer free lectures and movies with the price of admission.
One can find the
schedules on the websites. The Frick Museum offers free lectures and concerts
after the Museum has closed-truly free lectures, movies, and concerts. Check the
schedules for the Modern Art (Admission is free for all visitors during Target Free Friday Nights, Friday evenings, 4:00–8:00 p.m.
), Asia Society (Free admission Friday 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
), and Whitney (Friday 1–9 pm (6–9 pm pay-what-you-wish admission)
) for their free nights.
Metropolitan Museum offers pay what you will all the time. Remember that the Museums usually have free libraries. The major auction
